April Golf Recap

The Priory Ravens golf team has gotten off to a great start to the season in match play. We started the season with a 237-274 win against Westminister at Aberdeen. We then played the notorious CBC Cadets at Greenbriar and secured a nice 238-241 win. Then the bone-throwing birds took on Forest Park against John Burroughs, in which we sneakily came out with a 232-257 dub once again. Westminster wanted a rematch after we dismantled them earlier in the season, so we played them at the Creve Couer Municipal Golf Course, where we beat them again 230-262. Regarding tournament play, the team played in the Greg Bantle Memorial Tournament at the Bluffs, and we placed 9th. We then ventured over to the state’s luxurious capitol Jefferson City where we played in the Helias Tournament at Jefferson City Country Club. Safe to say the Birds threw a couple of bones and came in 6th place, with Owen Farley shooting a pleasant 76 to earn him an 8th-place individual. The team has some big matches coming up in the coming weeks, such as SLUH and Chaminade, in which we hope to get some good wins.
