The golf team has a lot to be proud of so far. We placed 2nd at The Bantle, beat Chaminade who are the 2021 State Champions by 9, and have been undefeated so far in Metro Conference Matches.  Luke McLaughlin, who played JV last year, medaled at The Bantle with an incredible, monstrous, and downright impressive 75. Overall, the golfing birds have been on an absolute tear this year. Throughout the regular season matches, we have established a very strong eight-man squad, with Lance Lavery manning the 8th position. Lance was originally placed on JV at the beginning of this season, however, with his impressive work ethic and dedication, Lance has found himself on the varsity squad. Lance “Binnis” Lavery is a scary sight that every team needs to watch out for. Next week, the team will head to the Links of Dardenne to compete in the Class 5 District 2 Tournament to try and qualify as a team for the Class 5 State Tournament. The five players that will be going to play in the district tournament include Nick Seifried, Matthew Politte, Luke McLaughlin, Owen Farley, and Eddie Rothery. The birds are looking to take down Chaminade once more at the Class 5 State Tournament and win. #bubberaintreadyfordalhousie
