As many of you probably didn’t know, Wrestling has been hard at work being the most alpha winter sport at Priory. By the end of the regular season, we had a 10-6 dual meet record (which is even more impressive considering the number of underclassmen we have). We also competed at Districts over the weekend where Priory as a whole took 3rd. Individually, Aaron Parasch, TJ Soriano, and Chase Gerber placed 3rd; Stephen McDaniel and Evan Hugge placed second; and Huck Simmons and I placed first. If you see any of these guys in the halls be sure to congratulate them. Special shoutout to Huck Simmons for placing first as a freshman, which is especially impressive. Senior Gabe Gross would have definitely been a formidable threat in districts and State, but unfortunately, he couldn’t compete due to an arm injury. Those that placed in the top four in Districts move on to Sectionals on the 26th, and the top three at Sectionals will go on to compete at State.
